Lenses

As I started to write this I was in the process of shifting into using Sony E equipment including lens adapters for mounts like Nikon F, Canon EF, Pentax K and M42, Contax, and others. You will thus find articles about all of those and more including of course native E-Mount lenses from a variety of manufacturers including Sony and Sigma. I’m starting this July of 2024 so it may be a while to get things fleshed out. The thing is I’m collating data I personally like to look over when I research possible purchases for my collection. I’ll probably also extend it to include lenses I used to own but have parted with.

There is a plethora of very good and talented lens reviewers in the world and personally I like reading about stuff like this. Nevertheless rather than trying to repeat what others have done I’m focused on something utilitarian. I might include some commentary on the glass I actually own but generally this is more of a barebones basic approach. I’m creating what I call briefs. Something more in depth I tend to refer to as a whitepaper. Both here and in other parts of the websites I curate on OXZO.com. So nothing super fancy but lots of links and specs that’s the approach. If you want you can suggest links I should add and I probably will.
